Farflung

Answer five daily geography prompts by pinning countries on a world map. A less obvious correct country takes your expedition further.

Before you jump in

Use Farflung LLC’s original at farflung.game. Play Daily Expedition starts the day’s five prompts, with one scored attempt per day and no account needed. Place one country pin for each prompt and confirm it before the clock runs out. Rarity determines distance rather than speed alone. A new expedition opens at local midnight. The menu offers a repeatable, untimed one-question practice round and the past week; there is currently no unlimited expedition mode.

How to play Farflung in your browser

Open Farflung and choose How to play for an untimed practice round, or Play Daily Expedition for today’s scored game.
Read the prompt and think of a country that fits. Place a pin by clicking or tapping the map.
Check the country under your pin, then press Drop pin. Review the rarity result and choose Next prompt.
After five prompts, go to camp for the results. Keep the same browser to return to an unfinished daily expedition.
