This Windows FreeCell build runs in Wine-Assembly. All cards begin face up, so planning matters more than uncovering hidden cards. Build descending alternating-color columns while using the four free cells as temporary storage. Empty cells and empty columns determine how much room you have to move sequences. The original build does not offer modern unlimited undo.

How to play FreeCell in your browser

  1. When the empty green table appears, click the game and press F2 or choose Game → New Game to deal, then inspect the face-up cards.
  2. Move Aces and other eligible cards to the suit foundations when that helps free the tableau.
  3. Use free cells sparingly to expose useful cards and build alternating-color descending runs.
  4. Create empty columns for maneuvering, then clear all cards into the four foundations.
