Before you jump in

Taipei is a single-player tile-removal puzzle, not four-player competitive mahjong. Wine-Assembly runs the Entertainment Pack version with its 144-tile turtle arrangement. A tile must be uncovered and free on at least one side before you can select it. Removing an obvious pair can block a later route, so compare which tiles each choice will expose.

How to play Taipei in your browser

At the Taipei title screen, choose Game → New Game or click the game and press F2, then find two matching free tiles.
Click the first tile and its matching partner to remove the pair.
Prefer pairs that uncover buried tiles or open the long rows along the sides.
If no legal pair remains, start another layout with Game → New Game (F2).
