Before you jump in

Jedi Academy mixes lightsaber combat, ranged weapons and Force powers in a mission-based Star Wars adventure. Virtastic’s browser port offers two starting routes: Play the demo loads the official free demo, while Bring your own Jedi Academy uses data from your copy of the full game. Use desktop Chrome, Chromium, Edge or Brave. The game runs on your computer, and its saves and settings persist in that browser.

How to play Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy in your browser

Open Virtastic’s Jedi Academy launcher in desktop Chrome, Chromium, Edge or Brave.
For a first try, choose Play the demo. Leave the tab open while the demo data and engine load; no retail game files are needed for this route.
For the full game instead, choose Bring your own Jedi Academy and select assets0.pk3 through assets3.pk3 from your installation’s GameData/base folder.
Once the game menu appears, start a new game and choose the difficulty, character and lightsaber options shown by the game. Continue to the mission selection and briefing.
Click inside the game for keyboard and mouse input. Check movement, attack, Force-power and weapon bindings in the controls menu before playing; use the game’s save/load menus to manage progress.
