Before you jump in

Asciilands is an open-beta multiplayer sandbox for desktop and laptop browsers. Play as a guest or sign in with Discord; Discord links progress across devices and enables social features. The shared world and character progress are server-based, and the developer may reset the world during beta. Mobile support is not currently offered. Read the Controls settings before exploring, then use inventory crafting and the build catalog to establish a camp.

How to play Asciilands in your browser

Open the Play page in a desktop browser and wait for the game to prepare.
Choose Play as guest or sign in with Discord, then join the shared world.
Read Settings → Controls. Explore and collect materials, then open I for inventory and crafting.
Open B to build, choose a piece and place it. Use Discord sign-in when you want to continue on another device or use the social features.
