Before you jump in

Wine-Assembly supplies a redistributable Heroes II demo. On the adventure map, heroes spend movement to explore, collect resources and visit towns; battles use a separate turn-based grid. Days and weeks matter for movement and recruitment. The emulator can run this game slowly, so wait for a move or dialog to finish before clicking repeatedly.

How to play Heroes of Might and Magic II Demo in your browser

Let the demo initialize and choose its available game or scenario.
Select a hero, inspect the movement range and click a reachable destination.
Visit your town to recruit troops and inspect buildings before spending scarce resources.
In combat, select a unit’s destination or target, then end the adventure turn when your heroes have finished moving.
